Experimenting and playing around with mute and a bit of tone shaping.
It ended up a bit heavier than I originally planned,
Just having fun making psychedelic vibe
I used @krunchr technique to record the jam. It even works in song mode. I had to cut to below 1 min and to convert audio to 16 bit 44k to stay within the limit of the forum storage though
every day one step closer to the liveset, with the spaceship
OMG brilliant track and sound. Which algorithm did you use on the AH to warm up those Dyad sounds/samples (If I understood that part correctly…)…I don’t get it, every Elektron example, including yours, has that solid sound I am drooling around…
Something ambientish to bring in the weekend
Got my Tonverk today, what a beautiful instrument!
Internal resampling coming out far too loud for some reason tonight, so captured here via Ableton. A long sample in a single player track, lots of locks and LFOs, using individual step trig probability.
Thank you! You mean which distortion circuite? Saturation usually, I like the Enhancer too
powerful sound and interesting aestetics. Do you process much in the box? Thanks
Thank you bro! Not so much, or in my perspective at least. I have a limiter on the master after the Heat, Im using paralellel compression on all chanel, and 4 chanel has multiband eq sidechain thingy which just cutting out some low frequencies super slightly to make space for the kick.
Im using delay and reverb on the sends (Valhallas obviously) to have some more richer sound and transitions.
I was totally dawless for years in my hardware setup, produced endless amount of music in Ableton, however now I reconsidered the approach for this big setup with my new interface, so everything is kinda new and not finished yet
I wake up every day super early to play the machines 2-3h, so Im always one set closer hihi
Had some dub time with the TV today, sampled the DN2.
I do the same trick a lot! Your track sounds awesome. It’s a shame so many posters site supposed ‘limitations’ of subtracks when in fact they provide really cool possibilities.
So good to hear the different range of sounds people are getting out of their Tonverks. I’ll share something if I ever get beyond endlessly tweaking a single pattern until I’m bored of it then switching it off.
Nice!
Would love to hear shorter snippets/experiments too to see where people are going with the machine outside of ‘artistic statements’
Thank you
Here’s a snippet exploring Step Edit to add extra notes on trigs at octaves and other intervals with lower probability, to add interesting variation to the Arp.
