That Tonverk Sound

There is something inherently super nice whenever I listen to your techno attempts. Really, really cool skill you have. I imagine (based on your other content) it must be super simple for you to do such stuff but it is really great when you do your 909, 808 acid, Detroit and underground techno stuff. Purchased the DTII pack purely based on the examples you posted.

Keep up the good work. MY respect.

Holy crap so good

Haven’t had much time lately making music but had like 30 minutes last night and made this. Didn’t dwell on it to too long and just made a short jam, didn’t dwell on it for too long and recorded the jam so I could share

Good example of why I like the TV sound.

Thank you and I feel the same. The fact that I pretty quickly came up with this and used for me some unusual sounds makes it really nice to use

It sounds really well. You recorded the full jam by resampling internally in one of the 8 audio tracks? I will try that out next time as usb audio recording is not ideal in my opinion

maine structure is tonverk, supported by digitakt and digitone, and yeah heat fx

Thanks

You don’t need to allocate a track just to record your song. Open the sample view, set SRC to MAIN and start sampling. During resampling, you can mute tracks, turn knobs or do other stuff. All is recorded live. When you’re done resampling, simply save the file. Then you’ll find it under ā€œRecordingsā€ in the User folder.

Thank you! Good idea

Never thought about this, very smart!

This is such a great tip

Just remember to finish your song before the six minutes and six seconds are up…

Experimenting with some wonky beat timestretching (see DIY Timestretching thread) over some semi-genarative melodic stuff, all TV

Three subtracks for kicks, snares, and percussion.

One single track of a pad sample, and one of a ā€œnoiseā€.

Lots of trig probabilities for steps - very fun.
