That was that time that they released the crappy poor’s modular line…

these are great questions

picture yourself in an interview situation. the reel on the TP–7 is spinning slowly, the bright red record lamp is lit. both the reel and the lamp indicates that a recording is taking place. the interview is going quite well.
the situation gets heated, you’re suddenly asked some personal questions.
in that moment, you gently place a finger on the reel and pause the recording, allowing you to continue the interview ‘off the record’.

Wow but wait, i thought when multitrack recording with the tx-6 it did not record the tx-6 fx?

No that’s true, but I use the TX-6 effects upon playback… since the recording go through the whole mixer again, faders EQ and all

I haven’t tried the analog inputs scenario but I think it works since you can do that with the TX-6

I think that you have to arm the recording when streaming from TP-7 to monitor the sound though, which means you have to record when playing back the recording…

Thinking about this i think it should be a feature to monitor the input without arming the recording… if this function isn’t there, it should be a firmware update away really cause I can’t see how this would be a problem to implement…

I’m gonna try it out when I have the time. Thanks for suggesting this!

Leica built the lenses and cameras for the first moon landing;

No that was Hasselblad - or do you refer to the mythical German Moon landing in 1942 (hence - dark side of the moon) as depicted in the documentary Iron Sky? :sweat_smile::wink:

Haha:….True, sorry
Still a bad comparison

(Leica was still the first dog in space)

Nope. That was Laika.

That’s the official mainstream history, but according to Iron Sky, clones of the German shepherd Blondie have been the first dogs in space.

homonyms, so kinda true

I wonder why they left out the midi sync… Can you midi sync via the tx6?

Yes! Leica is spelling in german but the pronunciation is 99% the same

Anyone have insight on when this thing will be released? Summer is so vague and I’m anxious to see what it actually does besides memos, dictation and playback. Future updates will certainly bring additional functionality but it seems like all the field devices are stunted due to one another.

Well, with the L in standard Russian the tongue is much more bent at the palatine to the back and the position is a little different (native speakers please correct me, its been a while), while the German standard L touches the palatine (and front teeth slightly) and the tip of the tongue points forward. Also, the A is a little more open in Russian and longer in the ai diphthong than in the German ei diphtong. So my estimation would be about 81 percent similar :nerd_face::sweat_smile:

Anyway, it seems safe to assume that

either

  • Laika was the first dog in space
  • Leica was not the first camera on the moon (that would have been Hasselblad)

or (according to the other hypothesis)

  • Blondie was the first dog in space and
  • Leica was the first camera on the moon

:sweat_smile::rofl:

Available!

Ordered it! Up to 45 days waiting time! Same as OP-1 Field.

Yeah, was surprised to see that. Says ready to ship in order page, but email order confirmation says up 45 days. Also the mic is still not available. Figured that would be the easier of the two to make.
