Yes, and there’s also the fun in recording at 45rpm and slowing playback to 33rpm for extra character. And not necessarily ambient, it could be a MBV style wall of texture and noise. Also I think artists like Grouper would sound nice in this format. It definitely inspires certain musical directions to me.

In my opinion, their most important musical legacy will be the affordable Pocket Operators, not a certain quirky expensive groovebox.
