Fine by me. Stereo is overrated.

So record to record on your OP1, then record to vinyl on your PO80?

You’d have to be very brave to directly connect a pocket operator and live record a performance directly to disc like they show on their website

It’s a start

It lists a Gakken magazine as part of what’s included. Is this thing just the Gakken thing but made to look more like some old Fisher Price thing?

So is a re-brand?

yes, that’s the situation. that said, i’m interested. it sounds not very good but could be cool for messing with.

That’s a reason I can totally buy into :grinning:

Mono best format

It’s good, no doubt. But all my stuff is very stereo so I wonder how it will translate. Regardless, I’m gonna buy one even if it only gets used as an analog sampler

I’m interested to see what TE’s online mastering tool does to the audio. I guess it cuts the bass to stop the needle jumping out. Is anything else required for vinyl mastering?

Maybe it rolls off some of the useless top end too?

I’m going to run a track through it and see how it sounds.

And that’s another use case right there.

Getting dangerously close to buying one now.

even the non-TE branded blank discs are cheaper. adding this to my list of someday purchases.

I bet it cuts bass for sure. Then highs, then low mids, then high mids, and then mid mids.
