An Ipad with Koala, AUM, some proper synths that actually sound good. You can even afford to by a new backpack and have some spare change left.

looking at the grey scale parameter pages makes me want to cry like a mid-life crisis.
So dark and sad.
I am obviously still interested, but the grey scale has to be about the only thing I don’t really love about the op-xy, colorful visual feedback has made all the previously OP’s really enjoyable to use.

No mention of that in the manual, so assuming it’s the same as the OP-Z, no export options other than the resample limit, which the limit of also isn’t stated in the manual.

Korg Gadget 2 on iPad with a cheap headsetmic.
iPad has so much crazily powerful stuff you really have to give a proper chance and time.

Wait - you mean one track can capture live running audio like a guitar to a tape? Not just a sample but like a fully running audio track ? Like the op1?
Stereo audio out only; maybe another stereo out via aux out
But you can save tracks internally then play them back through a mixer at least i hope.

Like playing them one by one and recording audio externally and separately in real time? That i believe is possible!
Tbh it’s a deal breaker for me! Multitrack export or nothing!

Weird no multitrack export.
It even has a sampler that has adjustable envelopes per sample, not per track, for less than a tenth of 2300 euros.

Yes it’s as nice.
I tried a little comparison,
The first synth is Op-1 with mother and the second is XY with its reverb.
I alternate between them so hopefully you can understand which is which somewhat
The main difference is that XY has mod and OP-1 has gate.

This looks super fun and cool but also way too expensive for me to even think about justifying. I have too much other gear that I don’t use enough anyway.
That said in the back of my mind I am mentally adding up what I’d get for some of my other gear… I need to just sell all the stuff I haven’t used in the last 6 months.
