i have a few questions about the teaser clip from TE.

are the guys real and look like AI generated on purpose or are they AI generated?

also, who made that track? its pretty cool.

should youtube block people from seeing videos based on their bank accounts though  … , I feel like it’s feature set is on the costly side of things for me right now but it’s really the people that drive the prices… if they keep buying then the teenage prices will stay the same…

I’m more miffed with the lower priced instruments that have more of a for the masses vibe but deliberately shuck and jive when it comes to the features that they know should be standard, are most used in every single electronic music genre, and that people request the most…

No I’m not.

I’m over there. In the Logic thread. Trying out Apple’s new reverb.

Come over, we’re having fun

Those 3 button combos and then knob twists look so much fun! And that song mode looks so intuitive that B&H video doesn’t even show you how it works!

I guess the best thing about the OP-XY is that it makes elektron devices look cheap in comparison. :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Thanks! Of the multisampled instruments I made preset bandpasser, ensemble, harmonium, uknowaxel and the one I am most proud of refelt piano. Regarding the regular sampler I delivered all presets in that category it seems.

Well I can’t speak for the synths which I haven’t used yet, but the samplers sound great to my ears! People also shouldn’t forget that all engines and effects are stereo now which is a big improvement if you ask me.

Thanks for the support!

I love that one! Great job!

Dang, that’s impressive!

You could get both II series takts for the price of this and still have some scratch left over for ramen… but you wouldn’t have the prestige of being a TE patron if you bought into the Takt ecosystem… and the takts don’t have a built in speaker, just oversided 1/4" jacks. so “tackty”.

I know I’m probably piling on here, but I just don’t get the price tag. I’m pretty sure I bought my OG OP-1 for like $800 dollars new in 2013? That seemed like a good deal. Obviously there’s a bit more to these newer units, but that shit just does not seem to be worth 2k+ to me. To each their own I suppose.

Also, Ricky Tinez says in his video that when you adjust a parameter for a drum track, it adjusts it for every drum track, and that’s just how it works. Bro what?

So conflicted about this release…

Probably the first TE device I’m not drooling over design-wise. It looks kinda off to me. Then the price is mental which makes this a tough sell for me.

So I wish TE all the best and to all that wii buy this, have fun!

I’m out.

I was thinking exactly the same about the Deluge

i thought that had to be either a bug or a misunderstanding on T. E’s part… that’s a highly unlikely result of brainstorming on drum track features

@MichaalHell

Workflow-vise, this seems a little less direct or streamlined than the op-z(when knowing it) and more of an open workflow of that makes sense … in a perhaps bad way?:woozy_face::worried:

How does that compare to the op-z? (Really like the minimal feel of the op-z and its workflow)

Is the tape track equivalent to the old
Op-z tape track or is it enhanced as well?

This has got to integrate well with the TX-6 right?
seems like it could go bonkers with the extra inputs!

it literally looks 100% identical aside from a few things shifting around and minor features being added, and the screen helping a bit for stuff like LFO/ARP settings (a few of the only things really hard to remember on OP-Z)

The thread is a demonstration of TE genius marketing. Even Ableton Move’s thread didn’t get as many posts as quickly.
