Teenage Engineering OP-XY

so, a pallet like that is 80cm wide, that means the boxes are about 37x40cm (w x h). the fact that they are standing up and not lying on their back probably means they are not very thin either, so maybe ~20cm in depth. so this probably is not a new OP-Z.

That is why they are trolling all of us with those insta posts :joy:

Hell yes they are !!!
Maybe that’s just a stereo update (hence the 2 dimensions) behind this !

Me too, to the extent that now every other sequencer seems lesser for not having them.

Welcome to the forum! I’m sure it will be nice. The icons do remind me of the PO Pixel (screenshot below). I’m guessing they’re punch in effects. The low pass on the far right is pretty similar to the one on the PO Pixel. 33, 45, 78 are vinyl record rounds per minute. One icon looks like a needle lift, some could be delays, reverb or scatter. Very interesting!

There is a tape with 8 tracks among those icons!

My money is on a sequencer based workflow, spritual successor to the op-z, with an 8x16 grid of buttons. Not sure whether it will sample and synth, but I sure hope so.

This graphic, combined with a package size of about 37x40 cm? This thing plays records.

It is a jeopardy / karaoke machine.

Guess the track. Think inside or outside the box.

Set a timer. Option to talk to your dad or call a friend as long as the needle is dropped. Choose record speed in-between screwed and chopped to chipmonk playback.

Once you have guest the track it is time for karaoke and make a fool out of yourself.
Record, autotune, mix and mastering is all handled by AI. Ready for Youtube.

All the different visualisations of waveforms are interesting

Certainly feels like a workstation that let’s you generate visuals aligned with your sounds.

It’s a self distructing synth??

AI nonsense?

Do you have a mac by any chance?
I had the same issue with my op-1 and the fix was quitting google drive and preview app.

“Alien” nonsence
