I’m already impressed with the backstory of their buying up whatever component they could get during COVID and then deciding what to build. Even more impressed with their sending it to Barcelona to build it. That’s pretty cool to invest in the talent there with an exciting product roll out.
Hey, it’s understandable to question the rush to buy new gear. But let’s not forget, everyone’s excitement and eagerness to try new technology is what drives innovation in our community. Experimentation is key in music production, and new tools inspire that. Let’s respect individual choices and focus on the creative possibilities this sampler brings to the table.
Just remembered, I think there was a Moog synth that was self assembly as well. Those two things seem more educational though. This seems different. Of course, if problems weren’t cropping up, I doubt it would stand out.
