I stopped watching his videos a few years ago for reasons I won’t fully get into, but the most important reason was I just didn’t care for the music demos he was making.
But I have to say he did a pretty good job with this video and the tracks he was demoing with it and some of the other critiques I had he doesn’t seem to be doing in this video. Maybe I’ll watch him again lol.
But yeah, good demo.

Agreed. I would rate the stock drum & bass sounds as top tier. Synth leads, pads & chords have some nice gems, but would have loved to see more of them here. My assumption from launch videos was that it would ship with 999 samples, but it’s actually like ~300 if I had to guess.

Has anyone found mechanical keyboard caps that would fit inside the button cutouts? I tried an MX cherry keycap from my DaVinci resolve speed editor but it was too large to fit.
Interesting that they didn’t send Bo a prerelease or comp’d unit considering he’s from Sweden. Not a fan of his music but he’s a decent presenter.

I will be interested to see what flat Li-ion batts might fit in there, potentially with some plastic carving, and a little USB charger to patch to the USB port …

that sounds like a great idea! i wonder if you could just use rechargeable aaa’s some trace cuts/additional diodes/flying wires and one of those 4056 or similar newer boards/ics(might not be balanced.) i dont think the battery tabs are soldered on! That said 20 hours is a ton and i bought some rechargeable aaas. I havent seen any super high quality board shots but ill be curious when they show up (enhance.) Ive noticed the 133 goes into a low power mode after awhile, dimming all the leds. neat.
Some li-ion pack in the region of 1 cm deep, 2cm wide, 9 cm long might work … searching to see what exists …
that said, I’ve always wished that devices that take AA or AAA would also recharge them whilst connected to external power if a setting identified them as rechargeable … why not?

i guess you could z scale my battery cover as high as needed and stick all sorts of crap under there.
Damn, mine was ordered a few hours later than yours but around 2000 order numbers higher than your order.

Probably because the device can’t detect a rechargeable battery from a non-rechargeable.
