I’ve been wondering how they sourced the sliders. One vendor or multiple… how would this be worded as an assignment. Type A or Type B? I really miss assignments like this ha ha
Sliders= faders, not tiny hamburgers

Does anyone know if there’s a way to mute specific pads other than using fader level to lower the volume of the whole group? Shift + pad is used for momentary solo, but haven’t found a way to toggle pads on and off.
My speaker doesn’t seem to make any sound. Contemplating doing a factory reset, but it says it will remove all internal sounds which can’t be recovered.
Could also send it back and I’d miss out on having it over my christmas holiday
Update: I’ve backed up all samples and tried a factory reset with no luck. I’ve sent my retailer a message and will see if they can swap or fix it. In the mean time I’ll just have to stick with headphones.
Same. They were quick to refund thankfully but the same lack of contact for me. It turned out they updated the listing but did not inform customers directly. They are no longer accepting preorders as well. It was my first experience with them and will also not be using again.
Sounds great, and looks like a really fun combo.
Yesterday sent a cancel/refund request to TE, today received a UPS tracking number
YES! Once the quality control issues shake out, if they can add USB audio and resampling I’m totally in.
Muhammad Ali box art is limited edition, so later buyers probably won’t get that though… if it matters.
Picked mine up today from Scandinavian Photo. Everything seems to be working without any issues. Now I’m scared to put the cap on the slider though…
Yeah I think beta testers had them for at least 6 months or so. What’s hard to believe is that they designed and made this thing using only off the shelf components (they ordered a year’s worth to hedge against supply chain difficulties) so they had to reverse their whole designing process. The main goal was to make a bigger PO under $300. They opened a new production line in Barcelona, so I think that they don’t have the experience of the big production lines in Asia yet for QC.
Least that’s one way I can get my tracking number….
I’m still looking forward to getting it. If it’s fucked it’s going back. Only thing is I wanted it for portability but it’s looks too fragile to take anywhere….
perhaps this could do, too, instead of struggling with a factory fader cap? I mean, things don’t get much better than a super cute tiny carrot, do they
I wonder if the early beta testers got it sent to them in a different (stronger) box? Not the limited packaging.
There were only 10 beta testers, that’s too small of a sample size for this issue. So far, a vendor on reddit reported 2/100 units having issues (that have been reported by the customer for return or exchange). I will report back later to see if the number grows.
Even at $299,- it’s a bit on the high side. It looks fun and has that old school vibe to it but I got a feeling this isn’t a premium product.
I bought one of these machines because of the design and workflow. I’ll be using it together with the SP404mk2 and PO33. To me, it is a “toy” in many respects. But that’s not a bad thing necessarily.
SP looks like a tank next to the KO. Probably should be the one with Muhammad Ali on the box
Yes! That drove me mildly nuts last night
No, it’s only for controlling, and composing. By pressing down a special key it plays a little melody.
