Yeah a good way gor a company to lose alot customers and trust is to release bad quality things
Bug: i have a sample in memory (611) that i canât delete. Not in the machine nor the sample manager. Overwriting is also not possible. I think it was the last one i sampled when i got theâmemory fullâ message
From âHypeâ to the fastest candidate for âBad Gearâ in record-breaking time. I know why i was always avoiding this company.
D-beam hardware confirmed, to be unlocked in a future firmware update
They work independently for some reason.
Because this is a spectacular case of excellent marketing combined with overly enthusiastic paid âreviewsâ for a product that is not worth its illusorily low price. I have never heard of such a catastrophic launch for a mass-market synth product.
It still looks good though.
If you check through this thread and anywhere else, youâll see a lot of praise from people who have a working unit, and naturally a healthy balance of disgruntled people with broken units. Wouldnât you say that the more sensible theory is that the reviewers based their findings on working units, rather than them being paid off to write a nice review?
Also, not sure what âillusorilyâ is meant to imply there - the price really is as advertised.
I recommend positive folks with positive minds compelled to positive things avoid/ignore negative folks with negative minds compelled to negative things.
Just a thought.
Also, there is another positive thread with positive thoughts and constructive information for those who actually own and love KO2âwhich is likely the grand majority of folks who purchased one considering it is still sold out and back ordered until March.
Sorry for those frustrated with shipping or build issues waiting to get sorted. Hope you find a fast resolution or working units so you can get to the fun like most of us.
Haters gon hate. Trolls gon troll.
Spoiler Alert :
Love always wins.
I love my KO 2. Funnest box Iâve had in ages.
Ever hear of the time Numark bought Akai and released the Mpc 1000, 2500 and 5000 ?
Undoubtably, worst launch.
My understanding is that TE was using a new production facility, production team, and is located in Spain for the EP 133⌠has that been confirmed? Let me be clear my understanding is just from chat rooms so it could be equal to a pile of poop. i just wanted to know if this was truly the first project for a new team in Spain.
I really like waffles
please let us know how things develop
Never seen so many good demos after one week of product launch either.
We are on a forum here to discuss, which means give statements to topics. This topic is called KOII which means here is the place to write and read statements about the KOII. Dont know whats the problem.
And the whole âstoryâ about this item is interesting. TE was kind of suspicious the last years, therefor it was interesting how it turns out with the supringsingly good new product. Which now doesnt seem so good like it looked in the first hours.
Dont feel offended, enjoy your gear. Its a forum here.
The early defects, shipping damage, and software bugs will be but a memory in the months and years that follow but I guarantee this thing is an instant modern classic. I have zero doubts that competitors have paid detractors posting here. I know if I had a $1500 product that wasnât as fun, immediate, unique, beautiful, and great sounding as a $300 competing product, I would poo-poo it too amongst the legitimate gripes to try and kill the hype.
everbong - I Completely agree
Iâm ok with everything else you write, but come on, this is outrageous. What evidence do you have? Do you own a KOii? Genuinely interested.
All issues posted here by users are genuine issues, and 98% of those posted in a pretty balanced way.
I think unfounded claims like these fuel the divide and are toxic to the community even.
This truly was a catastrophic launchâŚ
Catastrophically fucking awesome product, of which Iâm really blessed to have come across three units with no problems at all.
I looooove this thing. Just cut a screen protector to size; canât wait to grab a Decksaver so I can easily throw it in my backpack, and Iâm very excited for the ability to export/offload projects.
Otherwise, for $300, I really havenât had as much fun with anything even triple its price.
