Is it a Leica M? Or the Q? The Leica M-system is build to extreme tolerances. I have owned 5 of them and all of them flawless - and I am very picky. The Q is a different story.
Already posted earlier. Legos do a great job protecting fader, etc. A lot lighter than my other cases and it transforms into a stand. Still waiting on a few pieces to make it look better and cover the screen but it’s fine for now. Fits in my small slink pack. Also have the 3D printed one on the way from Etsy.

When you powered down did you use the power button or did you use a power strip on / off switch?
By the power button on the unit.
Battery icon is supposed to start blinking when batteries are low. Maybe the machine doesn’t correctly read NiMH / rechargeables voltage.

They might have tested but just didn’t have enough time to fix it for holiday shopping season? Not sure. If TE does not have their own production line, they may have to rush a deadline to meet production runs. Unlike Apple, they own that line and the factory will wait for them to green light the run. Just speculation. Hope it gets fixed. I do want one!

mine wiped on battery only. so i dont think its power supply related.

Experiencing a bug where track D is stuck on mute. Fader doesn’t have any effect on level when applied to that setting, no fader automations recording.

move the fader down then up with the D pad held down

All the issues seem to be taking their toll on demand…on Ebay Kleinanzeigen here in Germany, the KOii listings have gone from “WTB, willing to pay!” and “NEW KOii, sealed package, 700€ pickup” to no WTB posts at all and people now selling for 340-390€ a pop.
