Sharing some more wild glitch beats. This is some boom bap style beats and KO2 fx craziness. Im insta jumping between scenes and patterns each of which contains fader automation. The ability to bake in the fader movements in patterns and grab snippets from the patterns and scenes by instantly switching between them is pretty powerful. Add fx on that and looping and your off to the races. Enjoy my lofi Canva video mash up lol.
gotta say, I love how much music people are putting out with the EP-133!
Seems like a ton of musical content around from a lot of folks I donāt have experience with, many genres, etc. Really cool to see people put the device to work so quickly.
I really do feel for the people that got broken ep-133s. Extremely disappointing and discouraging.
I have to say that this thing is super fun and punches way above its weight. Itās just fast and easy and sounds great. Iām not hung up on its flaws and limitations because my main concern with gear is fun and ease of use and this has it!

The ep-133 could get nothing but bug fix and little quality of life updates, no big new features or anything and Iād be perfectly happy with exactly what it does now, how it does it and how much it cost.
The bag is very thin I would say. It will keep scratches away but not great for protection against rough handing. But I would not want to be without it. Perfect fit and has an extra compartment for cables etc.

The time stretching is dope. Super fun. Works in key mode also. Nice.
It has some light padding in the back side but I would have hope for a bit more like the field bags. But I will keep it as well.
its cpu bound, no technical limitation. since the UI today has one fx slot, with 4 aux-sends (from the groups), is a bit like having a single pedal outside. so for now itās a single FX slot.

I mean kudos to B&H but how are they going to ensure that the replacement doesnāt suffer from the same defect? At this point I donāt know what to doā¦ just return or return and wait _ months for more to come in and roll the dice again?
Really fun little device with the unique te magic. Sad to see the release spoiled with the fader problems.
Received mine a couple days ago, unfortunately also with broken fader. Packaging wasnāt really busted in the area of the fader, just a very light dent in the paper, I somehow doubt it is only a packaging problem as also shown in the reddit post posted above.
Contacted thomann, got an answer back earlier today. The service rep said they havenāt heard anything from te and are stopping sales because of the known issues (weirdly still online now). Therefore no exchange is possible right now.
Would be good to know official info on how issues are planned to getting it resolved. Is opening the device and trying to fix the fader voiding the warranty, what else to do?!
I nearly shared a similar story the other day from the weekend. Iāve got one side of a room with my desk and synths. And not once has my girlfriend had an inclination to try playing anything. However, on Saturday she took a real interest in the 133. She didnāt record anything on the sequencer but spent 15 or so minutes tapping away on the drums, switching groups testing the sounds, making up melodies and recording her voice. It was so cool to share that time together. Thereās certainly some approachable appeal to it that TE have got right.
Thatās what I call a clear statement from Thomann and very embarrassing for TE!
