Techno Artists with Elektron products

explain yourself boy

Haha

Thanks for your expert opinion Terry @UYoYU. !!!

This is a jokeā€¦right ?

How did you find this information? Is there an interview or something where he mentions using them? Iā€™m not doubting, Im just curious. I really like his solo stuff.

Hereā€™s an interview with the MD and MnM. Plus he has posted various pics of elektron gear on twitter.

Thatā€™s really oddā€¦ For me itā€™s quite the oppositeā€¦ My favourite techno artist use Elektron gear for exactly the same reason as I do: they are high quality, creative, good sounding instrumentsā€¦

Good overview of who uses whatā€¦

James Welsh, aka Kamera, has been using the Octatrack and A4 recently.

Also Jacques Greene uses a Machinedrum. I havenā€™t seen him play out with it but itā€™s on a few tracks on his recent album.

I remember seeing that Shifted used Rytm + OT.

Mike Parker uses an OT live.

James Ruskin and Mark Broom got OTs a year or two ago.

Patrick DSP has Dark Trinity.

Drumcell has a Rytm.

Brendon Moeller, an A4.

Paul Birken has all of the gears. Ever.

Andy Stott has been a diehard Machinedrum and Octatrack user for a long time now.

Not quite techno maybe, but thereā€™s a SID Station in Alec Empireā€™s studio, as seen here: https://vimeo.com/260251726

No more OT for Surgeon (as of aug 2017 at least: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iCzWiamrAQU )
