I’ve read the Novation Basstation II is very good in that regard. Are there any other synths that are capable of fast program switching? I’m thinking a different patch on each step triggered
Cheers,
Lukasz

Blofeld is pretty fast with program changes.
I remember reading in a review that the Pulse 2 was good for this as well
I tried it on my pulse 2 and can confirm that…
Digitone
Moog Slim Phatty
Nord lead 2 is definitely.
Access Virus Ti
Thanks a lot! That’s some food for thought for me.

I wish I hadn’t sold it before I bought the Digitakt (well, I had sold it to fund the DT, so… ).

Lukasz
I sold it 3 times and bought it 4 times.
The last one, I’m gonna keep it.
I had bought it once, got the second one as a gift
I really liked it, but I could not find any way to include it in my setup, so I sold it twice.
Cheers,
Lukasz
Nord Lead 4 and A1 can change instantly between 4 patches if you use the 4 midi slots separately (and there’s 4 audio outs).
OB-6 is pretty fast too, but not as fast as the AnalogFour/Keys.
Subsequent37 is the slowest in the entire universe.
Virus ti2 and digitone …
Jomox mbrane and mbase desktop modules
Also I’m fairly sure there are some poly synths/apps that can complete the envelope of the previous sound after you make the change. Really nice & I know I’ve encountered it but can’t remember where! Maybe the Micron?
Yep, the Kurzweil K2500 definitely plays out the previous patch envelope + fx when switching sounds. Cool ability.
Se-02 is pretty nippy, 99% it gets it right
Ok, i put them all together, for a better read:
Novation Circuit Mono Station
Alesis Micron
Arturia Microfreak
