New EP using only the ST. Made all four tracks over the course of a few weekends. It’s kind of my attempt to combine the footwork style I usually work in with the tones and textures of poppy house music

Strange how just two new machine seem to fully complete this box…

Hej!

I produced a Drum ‘n’ Bass track only using the Syntakt to test out the new machines.
They are great! I used SY Raw for the bass and SY Swarm for the pads.

I hope you like it!

Ps: I will post more jams with the boxes on Youtube in future. Glad if you subscribe to my channel !

Did some chill, almost ambient music again.

It’s been about a month since I uploaded last. Trying to take more time in putting things together less haphazardly. Plus the end of the year is full of birthdays, holidays, and events for my kids.

Opsix is there adding a spacey guitar sound in a few places. Big thanks again to @Octagonist and @sezare56 for help with my MIDI setup.

Syntakt, Hydrasynth midi control fun !

I’m controlling ST Velocity and Note values with CCs, so everything is perfectly synced.
No arp.

What you are saying is even if you’re not tight, the Notes ‘‘snap’’ to the Grid in 1/16 ?

Yep, because notes are already sequenced by ST with red trigs.
But velocity is set to 1, and their Note value is track’s default.

So I send Velocity CC4 127 to make the note earable, and Note CC3 keytracked by Hydrasynth mod matrix. You can do it with your HS and any Digi…

This is my third jam on the Syntakt, making heavy use of the new SY Swarm machine. Also worked around the monophony limitation by duplicating a track and changing the notes of the copy to form 2-note chords. Sort of like pseudo polyphony.
