How though? You mean live into DAW or whatever you recorded into but not into sequencer right? Because when I record live into sequencer it comes back sounding like steps lol.
Yeah, I just recorded the audio and moved the pitch knob on the Syntakt - i did not record it to midi 
For sequenced slides, I use Pattern Lock and the LFO->Pitch.

I do a lot of industrial percussion with the FM synth, but i must be a bad sound designer with the SY Bits my percussion sounds bad
