I so WANT that SY Chips, but don’t want to buy a Rytm just for that machine.

Could we get a Bit Crusher and Sample Rate reducer in the effects section, possibly even an analog or digital distortion.

That TR Kick drum from the machine drum, not the original, but that Kick Drum from the unofficial release, something with Bit Crushing, Sample Rate Reduction, and Distortion / Over Drive.

A pitch envelope, that’s capable of creating scratch sounds or a machine. I don’t mean like full blown scratching, just that rub. Wooka Wooka, sound. I’ve come close, but not close enough.

The Syntakt Feature Request Thread

My only feature request, make the retrigger able to be quantized to the sequencer! I really love the model cycles and I really want to make off the cuff drum fills that are quantized to the sequence that is playing, like how the arpeggiator works on the digitone. I have heard from EZBOT that the retrigger function works the same on the Syntakt as on the Cycles when it comes to quantization. I would really love an option in that menu to keep things quantized. Sorry if this thread is a bit prematu…

what makes a good wooka wooka sound? I imagine something like a looper with pitch control?

Pitch envelope is best, something with to attacks, Slope down and Slope up kinda situation. Is that repeating IDK.

A triangle or saw LFO works, when set to pitch. But on the syntakt some of the oscillators are not affected. So you don’t get the hole pitch down then pitch up effect. I haven’t tried them all. So it could just be finding tho correct machine.

Probably just need to keep fiddling with it.
