Sympakt - ST sample pack manager app

I couldn’t resist after today’s update, I just built a sample pack manager for the Syntakt

Features:

  • 64-slot sample bank — drag-and-drop grid with instant audio preview, auto-conversion to Syntakt format (16-bit, 48 kHz, mono), and ZIP import/export with metadata
  • Loop editing with crossfade — interactive waveform overlay with zero-crossing snap, adjustable crossfade for click-free seamless loops
  • LOFI / XLOFI mode — extends max sample time to 10s or 20s by exporting pitched up, with bandwidth-accurate preview
  • Dual sample mode — pack two samples into one slot (A+B); doubles your sample count within the 64-slot limit
  • Pitch detection — auto-detects fundamental frequency and displays the musical note
  • Virtual keyboard — 2-octave chromatic keyboard to audition samples at different pitches
  • Fully offline & private — single self-contained HTML file, zero backend, session auto-saved in browser

Code is open-source here: GitHub - sinedied/sympakt: Sample pack manager for the Elektron Syntakt · GitHub

Hope it will be useful, feel free to share your sample packs here!

Holy crap this is both amazing and lightining fast!

Amazing, love the name as well!

Such a great tool in record time!!!

I think that lofi mode is going to get a LOT of use from me.

I’m wondering if an “extra lofi” mode for 20s samples / (12Khz sample rate / 6Khz bandwith) would be useful, since we can go to -2 octaves

You can actually go much lower than that - remember that you also have the Trig Note parameter. Several minutes of ultra lofi

Saw that, very useful when playing samples chromatically so I wouldn’t want to abuse THAT much, and keep the playability. 6khz is already quite crunchy

I’m guessing you mean 6Khz being the Nyquist limit of a 12Khz sample rate?

But yeah, that sample rate starts introducing some nice retro crunch.

An absolute legend!!

May I make a small feature request?

Normalization of audio files

I was thinking about strategy to opptimise my sound choice , i’ve came to conlsuon that we can mutliply by 2 the numbe rof sound by put in same MAIN salmple
Sample A (2sec) blanck (1sec) Sample B (2 sec reversed) Allowing us to play Sample A when regular playback and B in reverse playback mode , could you implement a script where we select A , B and times for each (and the blanck ) ?

This woulsd be crazy

Extra Lo-Fi has been added  Up to 20s sample length now with crunchy sound, don’t forget to set pitch at -2 octaves when using it
