well, not on sale but free. SpectrumWorx went bye bye and the devs open sourced it after closing up shop… Surge Synth Team and others have resurrected it. now available for clap/vst/au win/mac/linux. so stoked to have this one back… used to use it all the time. it’s good weird fun.

For all fans of classic FM synthesis, this plugin comes pretty close to the original and might be a nice way to get started if you haven’t been able to afford the hardware—or didn’t want to—until now. There‘s an introductory offer running until 31st of August (39 €, so I assume it’s around 40$).
This is an emulation of the Mk I, which has the YM2612 FM chip built inside. The Mk II has the YM3438. Main differences between Mk I and II: The YM3438 is not entirely identical; it produces a significantly higher output signal, which required modifications to the catch-up amplifier. It also features an improved A/D converter.

VTines is the best-sounding sw Rhodes I’ve heard. I own a real 72 Mark I. Better than Arturia, Lounge Lizard, Rhodes Anthology. (Rhodes Anthology seems to be maybe the second-best atm? I’ve only heard it in video demos and haven’t used it personally.) Combination samples and physical modeling. It uses UVI’s free Workstation which uses iLok, which I’m not a fan of, but the sound and tweakability are excellent. Check out some YouTube demos if you’re in need of a better Rhodes plugin. On sale atm.

Aodyo were bankcrupt and Anyma V and their hardware products couldn’t be bought anymore, but now the company is back.

I have not, I would’ve tried the demo if there was one 
But in the end, some of these VSTs aren’t that interesting anymore, since in the DAW, you can stack as many resonator VSTs onto a sound producing VSTi as you want.
