SW DEALS : Software on Sale

Anyone got this? I do like that Waldorf sound but they aren’t known for amazing software I’d say

Their new microwave plugin will change your mind. It sounds incredible.

Largo 2 sounds good but has some bugginess in things and the preset browser sucks. it’s a shame they didn’t make it as well as they made the microwave plug in.

Good to know. Cheers. At this price I might pick it up regardless and add it to the plugin pile :joy:

on sale for $99

UPDATE: just incase you’re interested …

Umfufu and Ignatius have alerted us to some issues

not a new development. these products haven’t been updated in forever and kaleidoscope especially is kind of abandonware. the development team is no longer there and they’ve been in a dispute for years. one of the devs started a new company and is developing a rather expensive reverb. 2caudio is one of the least user friendly developers out there when it comes transferring licenses. none of the plug ins are native apple silicon btw. i’d be surprised if they’re every updated again

From what I understand 2CAudio has been inactive for a few years now. Is this a new development? I hope so! I love their plugs and hope they get future updates.

I hadn’t heard about that, will shoot them a message and see what they say… their site allows you to add products to the basket I’d hope they shut it down if they aren’t around

Yeah, their software has been caught up in an internal dispute within the company for years as far as I know.

Arturia V Collection, FX Collection, and Pigments are 50% via Reverb. I think the black friday sales direct from Arturia are usually better? But 50% is nothing to sneeze at in march.

It’s now cheaper for me to buy a new license of V Collection or FX Collection than upgrade.

This doesn’t make me feel loved as a customer.

Arturia’s upgrade sales are typically at different times of year from their full-version sales. Don’t worry, you’ll see a solid discount at some point (although for V Collection, the best deal may not be until the fall as VC11 is likely coming late spring and the “intro offers” are generally not a huge savings).

Actually there doesn’t seem to be much love for Largo 2 out there so I think I might skip. Those new Waldorf UIs look pretty bad from screenshots

Yeah, I own Largo 1 and skipped the update because, by all accounts, it seemed buggier and uglier. I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I’m one of those oddballs who likes the 00s aesthetic of the original version.

I do think it sounds great, though - a nice way to inject some of that Waldorf sound if that’s what you’re after.

thanks for the heads up, that sounds messy

The Largo upgrade does add three formant filters and resizing of the UI - all useful, if a bit lacking in generosity.

As per tradition, Goodhertz is doing a 𝜋 day sale. This week, 31% off their plugins.

They can be a little overwhelming, so here are my personal faves:
