New teaser is up on their instagram: https://www.instagram.com/reel/C889s7ANU-d
I did it. I preordered.

I’m on the brink
15 to 19 weeks? Right?
The revised delivery estimate is fall of this year, so a couple months for sure is my understanding.
Its suddenly become very sexy. What a fabulous looking desktop. And those envelopes/filters sound really strong. I was expecting him to say over £2k and its half that. Well done to them
Why did I watch that
Sounds bloody marvelous!
Interesting…
At the start of the year, my only two ‘must have’ pieces were the Torso S-4 and the Redshift 6. Still waiting for the S-4 firmware to mature. The first demos of the Redshift 6 knocked me out, but all these subsequent yacht rock patches are leaving me cold. I hope I’m wrong because this synth is a great size to put on my live board, but to me these new presets sound like a more dull, lifeless version of a nice Sequential synth. Or maybe I’m just grouchy today
Agreed, the presets in this latest video are meh…but still eager to see it in action.
Grouchy is perfectly acceptable here.
I’ve been keeping an eye on it since it was announced. Something about the raw sounds of the oscillators and filters is unique to my ears. It’s not radically different from other synths, but it has its own character. I personally love the way it sounds in the demos that are out so far.
I won’t be buying it right away, but it may be something I look at in the future. The price is really reasonable for the feature set (and given that they’re a small /boutique company). I hope their launch is successful
I think they’re just trying to show that they’ve got us covered as a chameleon desktop synth.
The make or break “feature” at first is going to be whether it is fun and efficient to use or if it’s best just to get a few modules dedicated to a specific sound (for $$$).
And what should make it really interesting is when we get to hear what can be done with new filters created via their custom patching of analogue components.
I’m curious to see if it can compete with an Iridium core when it comes to versatility.
Seems to have the features, I’m undecided on the sound, very crisp and cold seems to lack the unpredictability I dig out of other analog synths. I sure wish it was in the new Dreadbox Artemis shell though. I’m not a fan of the design and button dominant layout…
Thanks for sharing,
wondering how it sounds without fx
and here is the roadmap

that!!
so this is a form of communication I wish others would do!!
To be clear, the website shows that it is “available now with an MSRP of 1259€” and although most sites are still showing pre-order, Thomann lists it as “in stock within about one week”. Exciting!
I’ve been extremely interested in this since it was first announced. I like some of the sounds in demos so far, but I’m really waiting for a more “nuts and bolts” review going through the menus, and hearing the various raw oscillator and filter options. I haven’t seen any videos that dove into sound design on it, mostly just demoing patches. I’ve been resolving myself not to buy any more synths for a while… this one could be a tough temptation though.
Gah I almost ordered this but a ton of the advertised features aren’t implemented yet. It feels super shady to have your retailer listings advertising MPE/multitimbrality/usb midi etc. when they aren’t even slated for the next release. Really dissapointed since this is a great looking synth otherwise
Yeah I’m not a fan of this increasingly common business model. At this point I mostly expect to get shafted in some ways as an early adopter of just about anything, but flat out not implementing key features at release is weird. I wish them the best though because this is a really cool instrument and I want it to be successful.
