I’m really curious about the analog Supersaws and how gritty/aggressive they can sound.
and the filter
Looks cooler than in the render, and bigger than I expected.
At Superbooth 2024 (May 16 - 18).
There is also the company that produced the case of this synth and many more.
The company name makes me anxious. They should change it to “A Little Less Critical Redshift 6” or “It’s Not That Serious Redshift 6”.
This thing honestly sounds phenomenal.
Waiting for a manual to see all functions (Wavefolder?)
Not sure if you’re aware, but the main person behind the synth has a PhD in theoretical physics and everything the company does is named using terminology used in astrophysics: supercritical, redshift, demon, neutron flux.
I did ask about wavefolding and was told it would not be available.
Well that’s cool.
Awwww thanks for the info! Okies, got already my Argon8M
Nothing spectacular soundwise, but it looks much better when the buttons have the right color (from 9:40). Overall I hope they fix the fonts and perhaps the colour of the front plate. It’s not the best looking device out there for me.
For sounds, this video is better:
i don’t know if I’m correct but the RedShift has a hard and very clear and clean sound?
looks and sounds really sweet! If I did not already have a Virus TI2 then would get this.
After circling the drain for many months I preordered. Seems like a very flexible analog that will be able to give you bread and butter sounds but will also be able to get weird with all that digital control. I also feel like having all of those different digitally controlled parameters could lead to the development of many more filter types and other analog processing.
6 voices is more than enough for a non-player like me, and those oscillators can give you multiple paraphonic chords at different octaves with 4 voices left over for a complex lead, arps, etc.
The individual outs also elevate it significantly. At the current preorder price, it was hard to resist for me.
