When I first saw that avatar, it tickled my brain. Took forever for me to link it to Red Meat. They used to be in the free zine “FFWD” in Calgary many years ago.

Elta did release an image ( not sure this is a real photo ?? ). Before all we had was an engineering drawing. Notice the joystick in this image is realistic looking.
My hunch is this gets shown, but you may get your wish for a “next year”.

ah that would be perfect since I can resist anything this year. Wait a year and get that and maybe the new Vermona Drumding to use for live rig? Right now I am rocking my Elektron and Perkons gear for live events.

I’m pretty sure they’re bringing it with based on their socials and I’m guessing a sound demo release will coincide with its appearance at super booth. Considering it went from a January shipping estimate to an April functional prototype I wouldn’t be surprised at all if it’s not in the hands of purchasers until 2027.
I’m going to be staying near Ostbahnhof as it seems like a pretty perfect intersection of the train to FEZ and the train to the airport, as well as being generally a lively area with other stuff I want to check out, but unfortunately the hotels prices seem to reflect that.
When I first visited Berlin Kreuzberg was much cheaper to stay in than Mitte, but it looks like that isn’t the case any more. I don’t know if that’s gentrification in action, or the effect of a horde of techno nerds booking hotel rooms in the same area at the same time. Likely a combination of both.

They, along with the Roland Future Design Lab are off in the Bungalowdorf, so you all will have to make the walk.
Just an interesting little bit. Not sure it means anything, but it might feed some speculation.

I notice that Teenage Engineering are not doing the show as well but decided instead to have a product launch event in Berlin all on their own.
Maybe someday a few companies might decide to cooperate and do their own “Buchla and Friends” ( thread ) sort of event to Superbooth.
