Did anyone hear anything about the Erica Synth Steampipe? Nothing was ever shown again after last year’s prototype at the show.
Just a short distance upthread :
Searches in the thread often don’t work. I frequently try to put tag words in my posts with videos, but don’t always. Steampipe actually works in this case.
This video is sound only, and perhaps selected sounds at that, for instance lots of brass, but good to hear anyways.
Since watching the video I have been looking at the controls to understand its operation. Steampipe will deserve its own thread – more to discuss.

I actually like Tempi but wouldn’t try to talk someone into it. It does much of what you want, then it does more! Which is when it gets troubling for remembering what does what. I plan on making a video just for me at some point to make it easier to remember.
But that knob has a corresponding color window for each of the 16 save states to switch through. No indents but visual feedback.

Same here: if it’s on YT, I can just come back and rewatch/relisten without the need for finding the file on distributed phones, recording devices, or computers.
Would love a short video about it, though
