Mark Verbos mentioned in his âGesprĂ€chskonzertâ yesterday that the Sawtooth Stack is 42 HP wide. It fits and works inside their Minihorse case, so it can be used standalone. Mark made some wicked sounds with it, I thought the stacked sine sounds were particularly pleasing.
However, even the model he presented was still a prototype with some MIDI quirks still waiting to be resolved, so I think itâs going to take a year or so for it to be available?
As long as one can travel there, Iâd say yes. One could buy tickets online or directly at the venue (but idk if they accepted cash). No need to prove any kind of profession or degree. There is an extra registration desk for press.
I really like the Verbos Sawtooth Stack. Good ideas with this.
I am thinking a good sounding option for this is to set the AD envelopes at the start to be static, and to patch a more complex envelope after to a stereo VCA, and synced with a complex LFO on the spread control, applied across the playing of a note similar to the way a filter might sometimes be applied.
Given there is digital control for the MIDI hooked to all the controls, leaves these sorts of features to be brought inside this box as well.
For me, the Redshift 6 is the most interesting piece of gear from this yearâs superbooth and will probably end up in my setup later this year.
It really seems to have something unique while also staying very musical. Hopefully they will release a manual soon as I would love to see which parameters are available.
I know the demographics here skew old but how many will get both those references?
Berlin is a curious city. It is very spread out, and in many ways it feels like it is still recovering from the partition, even though itâs been 35 years. I can imagine myself living there, though, which is not the case for many cities.
Sorry if posted before, couldnât find it here.
Also sorry for question: This just looks like a desktop ambient synth but neeeds a modular thing outside? Or can it be used or sold as a desktop format standalone box?
The modules to left and right (Joystick, and Out) are already in their lineup. You can see the delineation by looking at the Knurlies (screws) on the outside edges. My guess is that Oneiroi is just a module, wonât be sold standalone (kit or assembled only), and you need a case, power, and output module, at minimum. I donât recognize the case theyâre using. I donât think itâs in their lineup but I could be wrong.
