Status Update on Overbridge [posted February 2018]

Well, there will be some kind of visuals on their product boxes (Overbridge enabled)

Every user in the “jam” using a different laptop, each with a different device connected to their laptop through Overbridge but connected to the others’ hardware through the midi ports with zero latency.

I can dream…But I know it’s possible.

oh god, I can already see it. During the jam session Cenk shows us all what we want and then says… “and this is the new Overbridge 2 you’re seeing here…it can do x and y and z”… then he takes questions. when will it be out? " in the near future. stay tuned "

…Only if they’re introducing the Elektron Time Machine in order to take us to “near future.”

So, any “Status Update on Overbridge” ?

You know, superbooth has been open for quite some time now. I’m starting to lose hope. Like where’s the olive branch for your paying customers who have been using your products for years? This is unbelievable. I was hoping to wake up and be excited, instead I’m horribly disappointed.

The least they can do is give us a detailed update on what the status of development is

The communication strategy is a joke.

If this Superbooth announcement is anything other than a release date THIS MONTH, I’ll consider that pretty much a critical failure by Elektron.

It’s a good thing they are hiring a marketing person because whoever is handling it now is doing a poor job.

Won’t help at all, if they wanted they could have updated us already, doesn’t take 3 months to do that.

The notion that they’re looking to hire a PR person is actually a little bit ominous…

“Your first objective to provide our customers the date when they can expect Overbridge to be available”

“I love being the bearer of good news, when?”

“Quarter 2 of 2020”

Well for me, and I’m sure many others…this is their last chance. Failure to deliver will mean I’m washing my hands of this company forever, and potentially asking for a full refund on all the devices I own (AR MKII, A4MKII, Digitone) citing that they never delivered what was clearly advertised on the packaging (not just Overbridge, but the 2osc on my AR as well, which was advertised as coming with the AR MKII).

Yeah- good luck…

A few things that took less time than Overbridge:

The 1990 Gulf War (6 months)
The creation of Facebook (less than a month)
Creation of Twitter (four months)
German defeat of France in WW2 (6 weeks)

"Rome wasn’t built in a day…

…but it probably took less time than Overbridge"
