You mean this one that they were selling on clearance for $99? Should have bought two.
Feed Me Weird Things completely tore my head off when I heard it for the first time - that and Bucketheadās āThe Day of the Robotā created my love for drum ān bass music, among other things. Hereās another classic I donāt think itās been posted here yet:
Has anybody of you heard the new, remastered version of feed me weird things?
What do you think of it?
Iāve always been more a fan of his melodic work than his ultra-intense songs, but I really dig this new one.
feeling meh on this
I am a big long time fan
this track is ok but very far from his best work and the mix is not good
I have preordered the pink vinyl
Hoping it is a return to his olderstyles.
you run anything through that Vestax mixer your are making a mistake.
I like his red hot cock
I really love that there is a squarepusher song or album for everyone. Some people like the really intense drill and bass, some people his melodic stuff, lots of us appreciate his bass playing. Shobaleader One is an interesting project, even if it doesnāt always land for me.
yea shobaleader didnāt do it for me initially, but thereās a few bangers on it actually.
thatās the thing, even with his weaker albums (imo) thereās still always one or two total world beaters on em. when he hits he tends to hit it out the park, so to speak
Yes! There are a few songs that actually really really like on dāDemonstrator, especially abstract lover and maximum Planck.
sorry yes, on dāemonstrator, not on shobaleader
into the blue & cryptic motion are bangers too.
they have āa bitā. thereās nothing quite like a squarepusher bit.
this is one of my favourite sp tunes. again a remix that totally smokes the original.
the crescendo in this is something else
Surprised no one has shared the recent Ned Rush tutorial on making Squarepusher type stuff. Iāll leave it to others to consider how close he gets but similar to his vids on AE, AFX and BOC there are some interesting ideas in there worth exploring. I guess Ned is also excited about the new album.
