The wav files are not that much more than a nice coffee and pastry at today’s prices and one is far healthier than the other.
But those Racks would be quite something with Push!

When browsing the .adg racks on push S.A, does preview work?
as far as I can tell any rack with simpler does not have a preview. i really don’t know why this is the case, but that’s my current experience.
No, you only see the Racks but not the samples that are chained to it. But, the chained samples will be loaded after you load the Rack.
I think there is still (a lot?) of work to be done by the Ableton devs and they make progressions, but feel free to make suggestions to Ableton Support. I do that on a regular base, and I know that they listen to the community.
What @cuberoo said…the Sonic Beds samples are loaded as Simpler wav files. The ‘original’ Ableton Instrument Packs load the chained sounds as *.adg(Ableton device group), that’s why you can preview them will browsing the Racks. I think it’s the way the 3rd-party Instruments Racks are implemented at this moment and think/expect it will get improved. The Push 3 is still a young product and Ableton and the 3rd-party developers will learn from the input/bug reports we give them.
Now that I’ve got the instrument racks working for this collection, do you know if it’s possible to change the sounds on the Push the way we can select the variations on the rack in Live?
Or are we just using the default Sample assigned to the Rack on the Push?
I’m in the process of saving out Projects with the specific sounds i like in Live, but I’d rather spend that time doing this on the Push.
No, it’s not possible to select the variations on the Push 3 Standalone.
Cool. That’s what i figured. Thanks.
@boboter I’m still using Vol.1 with lots of fun. Will there be a Vol.2?
I‘m so glad you‘re still using the sounds. Yay! There will definitely be a Sonic Beds Vol. 2, but I haven‘t started working on it. I can‘t tell you when it will be done, hopefully not too far off, tho.
Just in case you missed it, end of last year I released a different sound pack for Ableton Live called 'Tonal Drifts‘ which is focused on Live‘s Drift synth. Maybe you might enjoy it as well.
Will take a look at ‘Tonal Drifts’. And really looking forward to the release of Sonic Beds Vol.2!
