SOMA Warp Multi-Processing Unit

@captain8 That would be a P6 if you can stomach the mini knobs.

it was close for sure

Part 3 is up - the Old Tape setting is what I was intrigued about!! Sounds cool!!

I like everything I’ve heard so far… i’d need 500 preset slots lol

Sounds great :+1::+1:

Price is good. Lack of screen makes it here. Some hands on processing. Looks very close to a no brainer on first glance.

Love the sound. The dopamine release part of my brain is saying ā€œbuy it! buy it!ā€

But I recently got the Polyend Mess and previously had a Chroma Console. I really enjoy the workflow benefits of being able to route multiple effects in one device, and the smaller footprint over having multiple effects pedals.

If the Warp cost 100 dollars/ euros more. So it could come with at least two effects slots to combine some of those wonderful effects. I would be all over it.

Didn’t get on with the Chroma? (Was one I also eyed up)

The Chroma Console is fine. I like the range of effects on the Mess better, the interface, and the preset management. And then the step sequencer is a bonus on top of that.

Sadly this has been listed at a whopping £762 on Juno! Maybe its an error.

Note to myself - buy second hand later down the line!

Some cool sounds in this for sure, especially the reverbs and delays… a lot sounds like the Cosmos but with more control. I’d still rather have a Quadraverb though.

Yeah… for whatever reason I thought this was going to be 4 or 500 us. No way am I spending more than that. Sounds cool but very very limited just having the one affected at a time

What I would’ve imagined this is but isn’t, is probably this [Edit: Made a thread because there was none  ] Herbs and Stones Soft Memo, Multi FX Processor Unit ?

It’s Ā£591 on there now.

Still seems quite steep but I’m not sure of the tech involved.

Edit - I’m sure it’s great. Maybe the price is apt once you’ve heard it.

yeah it seems a shame to not be able to stack effects.

Sounds great and I like the immediacy of not having screens, too many controls etc. Soma style

Saw these in stock on perfect circuit today and picked one up. The reverbs are sounding pretty amazing. I wanna put the infinite verb through a noise gate and trigger it with something. Just have a wash of reverb in the background getting ducked out by a kick or something.

were they discounting?

You seriously have to decide for ONE FX?

Also configuration for two different FX (channel A reverb, channel B delay) is not possible?

I am seriously looking for a FX box with many ins /outs as a drum machine processor - but currently it looks like my old Boss KM60 and/ or fx pedals are the answer (for me).

Cheers

This is correct; one FX at a time.
