Seems like a solid unit, in a way it’s cheap for all the effects it incorporates, but then you can’t stack several of them, so not that cheap. Still sounds great, and it’s probably built like a tank…

Yes will be a tank guaranteed!

Look forward to part 2 to see the granular and tape FX

Probably awesome. But without MIDI, it’s a clear NO to me.

Surprisingly awesome especially for the price.

Pump seems to be going for the OG SP-303/404 style vinyl sim comp, sounds great.

Its a shame you cant stack FXs

If it could stack effects, I would buy it in a heartbeat, even if it was more expensive. That demo video sounds excellent, and there are already nice details in there.

being that it is all digital I wonder why it wouldn’t be able to stack FX… did soma mention anything about it?

It’s not mentioned in the manual and from the way it has to be operated, it doesn’t seem like it’s possible at all…

Given the controls and FX overlay, I’m not sure stacking FX would be an easy thing to incorporate. It does beg he question of why this wasn’t considered in the design stage. Even one ā€˜custom’ category would have allowed for some flexibility in this regard.

That said, it’s competitively priced and resampling is a thing, so swings and roundabouts I suppose.

well this dev has been incredibly responsive to the needs of Cosmos Users, implementing multiple firmwares in record time, Imo a request for FX stacking is far more reasonably plausible than the request he got for the Cosmos…
just sayin… can’t wait to hear the rest of the demo

it doesnt look like there is any way to store settings… its all ā€˜live’ … thats a lot of parameters to setup if you want a particular type of fx…i didnt see anything in the manual about presets.

Kinda feels like a market grab. Sounds good though.

yeah it does sound good, they could do somethin with those up/down buttons and knobs for some additional functionality.

Looks like a nice unit for chucking on a bus

Kind of reminds me of the FX section on mixers if they were modern.

What’s a ā€œmarket grabā€? Like they’re trying to corner the market?

Aren’t there a ton of multi-FX units on the market already?

It seems like the key thing here is CV control, which only a few pedals tend to have.

Sound good and looks like a fun tool for live performance

Without presets, I don’t see me changing FX, I would be afraid to stick to the same algo… But I might be wrong, let’s see how people will use it !
