I just got back in to Vinyl after many years…I thought I would mainly use it for sampling and a bit of fun scratching/creative uses but inadvertently got back in to the rabbit hole that is playing Vinyl!
Current set up…AT LP140XP into a Fosi Box X5 preamp and a GR70 Valve headphone Amp (with Sennheiser HD 660S2) very happy with it but already thinking of a 2nd stylus for more audiophile listening- all I needed, another GAS Hobby!

I have a Rega Planar 6 that has been great over the last decade. It has a Hana cartridge on it and sounds fantastic. Most recently listened to Get the Blessing’s “Lope and Antilope.”
Thinking of getting back into vinyl, and been browsing turntables. I started making beats sampling my parents old records I’d find stuffed into storage into my cousins old ASR-X in the early 2000’s. Would love to get back to that feeling of having no idea what you are about to hear and grabbing whatever sounds cool.
from a Reloop RP-7000MK2 with an Orotofon VNL to a DJ-Tech DIF 1S (two channel mixer w/ an Innofader, EQs sound amazing and built like a tank, but sorta janky), split from the master out to my MPC and the booth out into my Mackie. got a pair of Beyerdynamic DT 700 Pro Xs and some Neumann NDH30s, monitors are Adam D3Vs. love every single thing about it.
currently jamming on a unofficial repress of this Joe Chambers joint, super ill, breezy electric piano post-bop stuff.
Old Technics I bought used in early 2000s. Used to be in a radiostation before that. Has seen heavy use, and only had it serviced once when I moved to Berlin (at 1210berlin.de). My other 1210 I bought used in 1998 and still hasn’t been serviced. They are absolute monsters.
