Thank you for the kind gestures. What printer are you using? I’ve just got the lowly ender3.

Looking good! Where are these from?

Octatrack buttons on my Digitone Keys… Love the Digitone - hate the silly coloured track buttons, much prefer the all black affair. Also now realising quite how dusty my DK is - wish Elektron would get on and release the Decksaver for it!

a 1 - 2" soft bristle paint brush, the kind you’d paint wood with, works well as a duster for equipment. Fast strokes avoids the dust falling into button crevices.

Can’t remember now… probably Thonk or Small Bear Electronics.

Both are good spots for knobs. I also recently discovered lovemyswitches.com

This looks great! Wish it came like that.

Big vouch for Lawrence, loved ohnoho when he was doing that and Love My Switches is great.

Yeah, there is no “official” elektron-branded decksaver, but Decksaver sell it themselves.

As I understand it, Decksaver make the “official” elektron covers like PL-2 etc anyway, so this is exactly the same as an official DK cover would be, just without the elektron name printed on the corner. I have one, and it’s just as good as my PL-2 and PL-3 covers.

So here’s a good example for the use of colored knobs, with the Elektron Models.

Someone needs to do custom Elektron Keycaps. ( Or does this already exist ? )

Not elektron gear but some custom knobs I made a few years ago. I scored this 80s ESP M1 custom that was totally trashed (broken neck, chunks missing from the body, etc) and I brought it back to life. Being a shredder guitar with a crackle paint finish and everything I thought it had a nerdy adventure metal vibe so I put some d20s from my old d&d playing youth in the drill press and made these knobs. Silly but appropriate.

Thanks mate, they’re DJTechtools Chroma Caps. I’ve put the glow in the dark ones on my Octatrack too :+1:

They’re standard D shaft knobs, just finding short ones is the key I think.

Thonk has a good selection:

Not Elektron, but maybe useful for people to know. Thonk tall trimmer toppers DO fit Korg Volcas & Monotron (at least mine anyway), despite their website saying they don’t.

very nice, but where did you get the black knobs? or did you put the colored ones on the octatrack?
