Setting up Arturia MiniLab with DT

I know it is not possible to connect my Arturia Minilab MkII directly to my Digitakt, but I want to use a MacBook as a MIDI hub.

Is this possible? I downloaded Arturias Midi control center, but how do I get it to work on the DT? I set all the Midi channels to the right tracks and set it to MIDI/AUDIO.

Or is this setup not possible and do I have to buy a Keystep/midi box?

Both the MiniLab Mk2 and the Digitone are USB devices which need to be connected to a USB host. The most common form of USB host is a computer, but there are also standalone USB hosts. You need to connect your two units to a USB host, then use whatever MIDI routing software is on the host to pass messages from the MiniLab Mk2 to the Digitone.

I’m still trying to finish my “Modular Studio” (those of you who’ve seen my desk know what I"m talking about). I was thinking about using a TRS patchbay and wiring the 3 “important” MIDI wires to a TRS plug and then using it to patch MIDI around. I might still do that. In the meantime I was trying to find a way to quickly route MIDI directly from one MIDI interface to another via software (Sans DAW routing).
