Is it possible to choose what parameters can be randomised?
If not, I think it would be a good feature. Only because I like to randomise the SRC page, but I wish it wouldn’t randomise the actual sample.
If there was a setting somewhere where we could check/un-check what gets randomised that would be super dope!

I’m sure selectable random is on the feature request list since ransom was added , it’s the obvious next iteration of that feature
Along with amounts of randomisation … ie totally - slightly random … a bit like mutate on some nord boxes
Is there still an appetite for this ? I’ve been doing related stuff recently with web-midi. (Which would be totally unnecessary if Elektron gave us the option of course, but …

What I have so far, an app that always randomises sample bank and slot, and optionally, randomises PLAY and TUNE on the SRC page. It could go in any direction from here, e.g. randomising chosen parameters over a limited range.

Kind of. It’s a bit of a hack that makes use of parameter locks. Example, you choose choose an empty track and place a trig on step 1, and parameter lock the things on SRC that you don’t want to change. Set the track playing and press SRC+YES. That randomises everything but on playback the parameter-lock keeps the values you want.
Yeah, strictly speaking, you really don’t need my app for it (though for my use, it’s more convenient).
