Screen problem on DT 2

Hello everyone. The screen of my brand new (two weeks) DT 2 looks like this now. But everything is functioning. Should I be worried?

if you can send it back to the seller, do that. cause it won’t get better

if not, you have to send it to elektron for repair

I guess I’ll need to do one or another

Hi Happen to mine also, whit one week of use, brought from Cuttof Spain, send it last week arrive there on friday, elektron repair it quite fast its already on its way back to me today, should arrive in the end of the week lets see. Elektron have manage all the shippings.

I live in Peru in the jungle. Its pain in the ass to send and receive stuff here. Nothing to do …

The best course of action is to send it in for repair. There is no guarantee the next model from the store wont have the same defect.

For what it is worth, I had the same issue and submitted a ticket with Elektron Support. They will send you a shipping label and you send it to a Elektron repair shop. I was apart from my device a total of 8 days and everything is perfect now. Have had it a week and no issues.

That’s probably what I will do. But for now while I can see the screen I keep to play with it. Thank you!

Has anyone got a screen that is fine with no replacement?

Just trying to gauge my odds…I don’t think I can wait much longer to pull the trigger :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

My replacement unit’s screen has been fine (returned original as it was B-Stock, someone else’s projects already in, that screen was fine too)

Mine went bad after about 3 weeks and fixed itself 3 weeks later and is working fine for about 2 months now…just saying there’s a possibility the problem goes away after some time…

Yes, bought early on, only occasional use so far, no screen problems.

No problem on Syntakt, nor Octatrack yet…

So far so good for my DT2. Ive had it for a couple months, been using it regularly since i got it.

This just started on mine today. I have contacted support.

Edit. They advised me that sending it back to them for a screen replacement is the best option and that they’ll cover the shipping costs. I’m OK with that, it’ll definitely be fixed and it just costs me some time.
