Mine came back today. Less than two weeks from UK to Sweden and back again. All fixed, I’m a happy customer.

I didn’t pay anything which with a flaw in a new product you would expect. Or at least I did. But I was impressed by the service, it was all made very easy by Elektron.
How long does the US repair center usually take once they’ve received your device?
They’ve had mine about 2 weeks and I’m wondering what I should be expecting / when to start chasing…
How’s your unit now? Did it come back? My brand new 2 days old octatrack have the same issue and the dealership is arranging to source the replacement screen from Elektron.

Unfortunatly it came back. Strangely enough it came back after not using it for a few weeks. Now it comes and goes…So gonna have to send my DT2 to Elektron for a replacement screen within the warranty period. ![]()
Looks like this is a widespread problem across all devices. Analog Heat FX is on the way and looking at the serial number, even it could be hit by screen gate.
It is widespread, but I have the feeling it surely isn’t as bad anymore as at the time DT2 launched. I’ve got an AH+FX about 2 months ago and it’s fine (so far).

Elektron gives a 3 year warranty and it cannot be extended. Send it back to repair (they will replace the screen for free), I understand how you feel and I would be very unhappy if this happened to me several times in a row. White OLED screens are prone to this problem, although some have never had it happen to them and some have had it happen several times. You have come across a bad batch of OLED screens, although from what I see on the forum, Elektron has improved white OLED screens, the Digitone 2 for example which uses the same screen as the Digitakt 2. A replacement for a new unit would only be possible within 2 weeks of purchase or if it arrived dead/broken. Good luck.
Had the same issue it seems to be common. Contacted the seller and they are replacing it with a new unit.
