Sample library management tutorial?

I have been trying to integrate a couple different library of sounds, and find myself confused what to do when samples don’t wanna fit inna category, or are not labeled with proper bpm or key?

Anyone share super extra smart person sample library management tutorial?

also i start to rip samples from my vinyl and try to figure out best way to structure sample library for easy recall. i think to make ableton live set and try to export from there, edited samples for octatrack 64gb card.

Curating and Organising personal sample collection

I’m on the verge of buying my first sample playback machine or sampler, and I’m already collecting samples. I can anticipate the answer to the question I’m about to ask is going to be “whatever suits you best”, but I’m going to ask it anyway … What is the the optimal way to curate and organise your sample collection ? By curate I mean: how much do you add to your personal collection when you acquire a new collection of samples ? Do you just keep all of it ? Keep only what you definitely need…

M:S samples, kits, chains and organisation ideas

Apologies for any duplication of existing threads, I’m just trying to dump my thoughts in one place to get some feedback. I’ve been experimenting with different ways to organise/curate my samples for use in my M:S (which I’m having a lot of fun with) and here’s what I’ve come up with so far… Curating numerous one-shot drums into a single folder and batch renaming them to KIK 1, KIK 2, SNR 1, SNR 2 etc so they are easy to browse. Managing samples with M:S

I’ve not really understood how the files are sorted within the M:S folders : I thought it was alphabetical, but it seems not. So it’s quite annoying to build kits… Another question is to know how much memory storage use all the samples. I’ve still not found this info on the machine or Transfer app.
