Someone posted on the facebook page that they had tried to buy a new Rytm and the store was out of stock. The store called the distributor and was told Rytm is discontinued!!
Any truth to this?

Maybe it’s corona. Maybe they said Elektron aren’t making anymore because of the pandemic
If I had a nickel every time someone mistook being out of stock as discontinued, I wouldn’t be able to buy an Elektron, but I could probably get a nice soda

Its most likely that the shop isnt buying anymore stock due to the ridiculous prices. They probably dont have a button for “this shit is getting stupid” so they just labelled it discontinued.
I wouldnt worry.

I bought a open box one yesterday and they said it’s been discontinued but new stock may arrive October ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Thomann says in stock within 5-7 weeks. So probably just in short supply at the moment.
