Meh. I’ll just wait for the Behringer clone in 45 years
Oh man I’m really dumb with gifs but I bet there are a bunch that would make a great response to this.
Ill wait till Vermona Drumding come out ,u can see it on yt … pure analog drum circuits
Uff i almost forgot about VermonaDing! Imo nothing sounds like Vermona but this thing will probably eat everything in the market… unless the Vermona will be like 900 euros.
A year ago, I bought the TR8 S, hoping to get into live performances. It was the most interesting machine out there. All the controls were very well thought out. However, I was disappointed by the build quality, the feel of the knobs, and the sound, which was too digital and lacking in personality. Now I see that the TR 1000 is
Isn’t also the ”plocks” implemented with automation on the timeline itself, and disconnected from the actual note/trigger, the motion record way?
I wonder if they have solved it here
Overland
Rolerbridge
Synth Anatomy and Gearnews really aren’t touching this are they?
i think it will be soon on 2 k euros mostly gear felt a bit
This right here is probably going to be what determines the value of this thing for me.
If the synth engines and sampler can be played chromatically (either as a multisampler or chromatic pitching of samples) from pads or a keyboard this thing will be the absolute champ of drum machine / sampler / synths.
If midi is limited and it is just a drum machine with analog voices and fx and samples are mostly just for one shots (then why give 46gb and slicing to tease with??) then while obviously being an incredible drum machine I really need it to be a do it all at that price point.
To be fair - on a screen with a resolution like this (128x64 on the Digi Series) it is hard to come up with a font that looks different.
I tried to raise additional interest on Modwiggler earlier today and got slapped down by two people for being a gullible idiot, basically.
gearnews is thomann. i guess rhey are not allowed to report on it
Yes exactly, which i think it’s cool actually, means you can record motion and then move the triggers around and the automation is preserved. I always found Elektron’s automation trigs to be super confusing and they make the sequencer unusable once it fills up with them.
Yeah, I wonder if they think it will eat into their MC sales and so keep this feature out of the TR boxes. But also so much of this new TR already eats into the MC’s features, would be dumb to keep this separate.
it is time to retire the Analog Rytm…
The irony
Super excited about this machine. As many have said, it’s the Roland device that many have been asking for years, and quite a bit more. The devil will always be in the details, but from the looks of it, it will be a solid machine from the start. I’m looking forward to hearing a deep dive on how it sounds.
I can’t pre-order or buy within the initial wave or two, but that’s fine. Plenty of time to see and hear reviews from real-world users. Unless something goes super wrong, this machine will have a long life ahead of it (just look at the TR-8/8s).
Pairing this machine with an Analog Four and something like a Tonverk would be (for me anyway) an incredible setup.
Oh man could you even imagine if you could import multisample libraries (samples from mars?) and play them right on the TR-1000?!
