On the “tomorrow returns” page it feels like some kind of sampling/live remixing thing. An 808 beat that’s being processed (reverse, FX etc) plus a looped chord (sounds sampled).

That’s probably just the scatter fx that have been on all of them. My money is on another TR or TR/groovebox hybrid.
Sounds pretty crunchy though… If it’s not analog it definitely has a very nice drive.

Similar shape to the original 808/909 by the looks of it.
Well, I had TR-08 and TR-09 but sold them and replaced em with Behringer analogue clones. ACB aint for me, unless Roland have seriously upped their DSP game

considering the tonverk and the mpc live 3 have just dropped I’d be very surprised if it isn’t some sort of sampler

Tomorrow Returns would suggest a retro piece of gear. MC909 hopefully. Probably a 707 though.

It’s all with the 909 fonts and few days ago KiNK released a small featured film about his first 909, so it’s for sure some 909 thing going on. My bet is for performance oriented, ACB, real size 909 with modern features, engineered around popular mods that exist

Maybe something like Tonverk? Maybe Elektron was aware that is coming and that’s why they rush released the Tonverk and now planned an update for the same date
