Is it possible to stop the P6 from outputting MIDI clock when connected via USB?
Not sure. Have you tried setting its sync parameter to internal?
I did but it still seems to output clock
Can you explain your problem?
Wouldn’t it just be a matter of not accepting the clock on external devices?

Got mine 
First impressions are good. Firstly - It sounds really nice. It is a ‘little bit’ fiddly/quirky, but I’m kind of measuring my navigation/learning progress over 90 mins, and I feel like it’s clunkyness/menu diving hell issues are a bit too hyped. A bit of time with it and it will click i think.
That said… can anyone help me with a quirk? 
When I have a step in the sequencer that I’ve placed a note, locked in various pitch/sample start settings etc, and I either remove the note or copy and paste the note elsewhere, how do I clear the locked parameters? Shift+motion seems to remove all automation, even when I have been in record mode and selected a step. A bit annoying and it is a hump I would like to get over quickly!

Thanks a lot! Yes, I used a little bit of TX-6 compression. The TX-6 compressor is very hard though so I only use it very mildly to glue stuff together.

@DimensionsTomorrow did you ever get audio over usb working on your iPhone?
so mine was working on and off with this non-apple adapter at first
then shortly after, it stopped altogether. it would never connect, even on my syntakt.
then i just got this apple one yesterday via amazon
and it seems to work great on both devices. although it only connects to the iphone via P-6 if you turn off charging (hold “C” (EXIT) button when powering on
so i think its solved for now, but that was getting very irritating. usb audio recording is a big advantage for these portable devices
im not sure what happened with the first one. maybe the adapter just died or maybe the phone stopped recognizing it. it still worked for charging though
hoping it will continue to work as it should now that i have a good adapter, but i know you said that yours was an official apple adapter in the first place, so im not suire what thats about

I have og adapter that you’ve bought and made it work only couple times. Thanks for the tip to turn off charging now it works as I’m used to with other devices!

Thanks for the reminder! I haven’t tried again since learning you need to turn off charging. I’ll give that a go as it would definitely be handy to be able to use it with my iPhone! I also need to set up a new aggregate device on the Mac to get my workflow fully sorted on Logic. Lots of little technical tasks on my list that I need to get out of the way.

The step parameter changes delete is just the same as copy+paste functionality process, but using the down octave button, should anyone else run into this

I solved the Logic issue tonight as well. The combination of aggregate device + I/O tool from utilities worked! Thanks so much for the help. Now I can monitor through my regular audio interface, record from P6 to Logic and sample from Logic into P6 with no feedback loop issues. Much easier to setup than I had feared. I only ran into a couple of minor snags.
Finally getting close to getting the new workflow sorted. Hopefully I can get back to recording this weekend.
