Wow, that looks awesome!

This looks really cool. Reading 5.9 secs of mono sample memory? Seems really low though I also get you can get a lot of it creatively with lower sample rates etc

Being able to actually sample on a sampler is always nice.

This looks totally rad. Battery, mic, USB audio (I think), chopping, resampling. And tiny!

Conditional p-locks !!

Probably my first Roland. I am just looking for something fun that fits in a pocket, for the time spent travelling to work. This might be it.

can you point to somewhere showing this? couldn’t see resampling mentioned anywhere else so far and the official manual doesn’t mention it AFAICT

Can have longer sampling time with lower sampling frequencies though.

Seems like a better deal than the LOFI 12, at least the sequencer is much much better at it lets you choose multiple sampling rates. I can see many people dumping their volca sample 2 on reverb…

Honestly, the Aira compact series is great. The S1 sounds great, and the P6 can actually sample and look packed with functions.

EDIT: From the Roland website:

"It’s also worth noting the immense power of RESAMPLING. The P-6 will always be able to record its own internal output when SAMPLING is on—no special mode required. This lets you take sounds you’ve already processed and rework them further, applying new effects, changing the pitch or speed, and completely transforming the original audio into something fresh and unexpected. This process allows for limitless experimentation, making it great for sound design. "

Awesome little thing. Gonna look over it some more but my guess is that it’s not for me personally. But I generally love the Roland Aira range and I think low cost / feature rich instruments like this are almost always wonderful.
