They have Aira link in the settings menu, so I assume so. You are supposed to turn that off when connecting to the computer via USB.

Yes the MC101, TR6S are surprisingly uncomfortable to handle considering their small size. Not even on a desk, really.
But then there’s the seqtrak and all of the sudden they don’t seem that bad…

I’d love a vertical gameboy style 404 mini. Touch strip faders on the back where your fingers rest in lieu of knobs. SD card slot and 4” colour OLED, better pads than the P-6 but similar size. I’d pay $800 easily.

I’ve thought about this and it may need a lock button, but think about being able to drum with your thumbs while having 2 fader strips or wheels under your index fingers for modulation, MFX, note repeat rolls, volumes, crossfades, etc.
Edit: similar to this but with pads on the front. Homermobile indeed.

Can you sample on each step a different drum sound and then program a beat in step X0X mode?
samples go into sample slots, not steps. The only thing that is related to step are auto chops but they are necessarily of equal lenght for a given sample slot. Otherwise you can manually ajust the start of a sample for each step.
