I’m sure as with many others I mostly know Rebekah Del Rio from this scene in David Lynch’s Mulholland Drive where she covers “Crying” with more emotion than almost anyone else could ever manage. Such a profoundly moving moment from an outstanding film.

I’ve rewatched Mulholland Drive on the big screen recently, on a 4k remaster.
This particular scene was nothing short of haunting and heartbreaking in the theater.
I was lucky enough to see it when it came out in the cinema and would love to do so again; that and to drive along the titular road again one day too - it’s been a while.
I love this. Absolutely sublime voice.
I watched Mulholland Drive on New Year’s Day 2002 in a tiny cinema. I was still knackered, chilling in my seat. And when she started singing I was stunned. What a voice.
