Reverse always too early

Sure ! But closer to reality I think. EDIT : I mean it is exagerated, but there is a delay between THRU and source.

You probably have trimmed original recording.
Thru is delayed compared to incoming audio, by 137 samples.

No, I have not trimmed anything. The picture i have posted is original, nothing trimmed. The live signal and the thru signal is very, very identical.

Maybe in your setup with ERM CLOCK and/or ABLETON delay compensation, not for OT.

Thru is delayed compared to inputs…Hence option to add delay compensation to DIR.

Yes I delay compensate it with multiclock and cirklon.

I will try tomorrow one more thing with delaying and microtiming. Otherwise I will check the fill option. At least I have written down the microtiming value that fits the reverse.

Necessary microtiming depends on tempo.
Swing can be also used to delay selected trigs (can be all trigs of all tracks).
Different values from microtiming. Maybe combine them.
Can be set with a knob.

Delay is fixed :
137 samples for Thru and Recording compared to audio inputs source.
274 samples between Thru and reversed recording.

Ok. New day new try.

I thought I did it, but no.

In the cirklon I can shift (delay) midiports. And I can shift note (cc …) and clock indipendently.

So I shifted the clock till I got zero delay in the recording in the octatrack (waveform in octatrack). With this I was able to get all 3 signals in perfect sync (the 3 tracks from the old photo) BUT
If I now use the octracks internal audio tracks (what I have in my liveset) I loose the perfect timing there.

I try now to source out all my sequencing stuff to cirklon, then I would be able to use the method I wrote.

Short question. Is the octatrack static machine able to end the playback from a static machine off gate is off? Or is it like a trig, an play till the end of the playback?

Not sure of what you mean but
playback behavior is the same as Flex.
(Static samples are played from CF card, and playback may be clicky if you modulate slices. You can’t edit audio in AED).

Does not matter anymore. The Idea was also not working propably. No I got a Parse Error in my Project.

Glad that I send you the test file yesterday So I can use it as my new file again. Just has to put the Audiofiles there, that is not that much.

The reverse topic I give up now.

You can but back your brain forward.

Generally it concerns an error with a bank; you can delete it, it will be replaced.

Maybe later

What exactly should I delete?

I figured out it is bank b. It takes more time for me to reprogram bank b. The faster way for me, I guess, is to use the project I send to you yesterday and insert the music again.

Faulty bank, on the CF card.
(If it is useless).

In your case, you also can replace the faulty bank b with the bankb of the project you sent me.

Active project files are .work files
Saved project files are .strd files.

The Bank Reload function may also repair the faulty bank.

Man you are genius and saved me a lot of time. Project Restored, by just replacing the bank 2. Thanks again.
