Does the new “Performance pack” work on Push standalone (perhaps as an imported set)? (Using new Live 12 firmware)
The sounds like a bug, it’s not something that I have encountered when editing drum racks.
I figured it out. Somehow some random midi notes outside the 16 drum pads got recorded to some higher octaves which were somehow stopping me focus on the drum slots.
Very weird. But fixed at least.
Strange. For me it´s a perfect fit. Did you get the version where you can remove the foam to adjust it to the device (and cables)?
This is the one I got
One user doing a walkthrough of his setup, his workaround for sync issue(s) between Push 3 and TR-8S, various other likes and dislikes. etc. Despite the bugs, he seems committed to the Push 3 as a major component of his setup
Yes, that is the same than I have. Fits the Push 3 with all the cables and a decksaver.
Am I missing something or does the P3S beta for Live 12 not add all that much at the moment?
This is one of those “am I being a right dipshit?” moments…
It adds Meld and Roar, which adds a lot imo. It’s very fun having those in the standalone.
I had a look for them but couldn’t see them! Maybe I need to restart or double check it’s updated properly

I think it’s a fair point though, for instance the generative MIDI features are something I damn well hope they include. Wouldnt’ want the Push to become this almost-ableton type device.
I’m pretty darn excited for those!
yeah, they were very quick to provide me the additional unlock I needed to run beta on a second computer. The sum total of unlocks on a given serial doesn’t show in your account, and the authorization failures report “unlocks available,” so that’s ambiguous.
I was def having a dip shit moment. I had stayed away form Push 3 beta’s and put the Live 11 beta on by mistake
Now on 12 and now got Meld/Roar!
What about the PSU?
They’re great but currently the mod assignment in Meld doesn’t work.
Hi all, just a quick question if anyone knows the answer. The USB socket on the Push 3 Controller/Non-standalone version - can I plug a synth (Korg Prologue for example) into it and have it send and receive midi to the connected PC?
Me too! They look really promising.
Earlier in this thread I believe, someone reported, that the USB socket on the Push 3 works exactly as you would expect a USB hub to work. I just tested it on my Push 3 controller with my Osmose, and it does indeed seem to be the case, the answer is yes
