Problem with OT Thru machine

guys, how come when connecting DFAM to OT thru-machine some fx like eqs and filters dont work or work very subtle?

CAN’T NOTHING STOP THE DFAM

joking. No idea. Check your settings (scenes esp)

That’s more an octatrack related question, than DFAM. Difficult to answer without knowing your settings. What means they don’t work or very subtle?
Do other effects work correctly?

reverbs and delays work well but for example the filter can hardly be heard cutting off frequencies.

Sounds like you might have “Direct” on from the inputs, so you´re hearing the un-filtered DFAM through the main outputs in addition to the THRU track.

check in the MIXER page if you have “DIR” from the input pair (AB or CD) turned up.

turn that down all the way to 0 and then you should hear only the effected THRU track (if you have a play-trig set there and it is isn’t muted of course ^^).

Thanks man this worked. Since DIR was set to 127 for the A4 that i have connected via (Flex Machine) with OT i thought that the same goes for a Thru Machine. Makes sense now that DIR for a Thru Machines has to be 0. Had to crank up the VOLUME of the Thru Machine though to have a good signal from DFAM.
