Building a browser-based techno pattern generator for trackers

For the past year I’ve been working on a tool I think many tracker-based techno producers will enjoy.
It’s a pattern generator that runs right in your browser, built for tracker format from the ground up. The goal is simple: make it fast to create rhythms and just as fast to drop them into your tracker.
The bassline engine got the most love. I’ve been tweaking and improving it for almost a year. It’s not random notes, these are patterns shaped to actually work in a track.
I first made it as a C++ desktop app for myself. Later I decided to bring it to the browser so anyone can use it without installing anything.
This is not just a randomizer, it’s a polished, battle-tested algorithm I’m finally ready to share.

Sold my Mini a while ago, and I miss the workflow - thinking about getting the mk1 to pair with my Move. My main complaint with the Mini was that the project loading time was so slooow. Does anybody have an opinion on whether the mk1 is (much) worse?
Only have the OG mk1 Tracker but to my ears it always sounded bad. I’m going to struggle to articulate why, but something about the overall result and mix which always felt weak and cheap sounding. The filter is particularly poor, and the overdrive is crispy and not nice on the ear.
You might say “skill issue” or bad samples, but I never had any such problems with the DT2 or M8, heck even the Model:Samples sounded great compared to the Tracker
Very subjective for sure. Certainly only plays nicely with sample volume set to -10db or less in my experience… but i always found it to sound really punchy… ymmv depends on genre and so on i suppose. Some users also complained a lot about “clicks “ which i never had at any point. Strange device that seems to divide peoples opinion
I kept the tracker only because of the sound. PE, to my regret, focusses on new projects and does not deliver main missing functions (like mute states in song mode) or tracker specific jump and loop commands (last time I checked, it was a while, would love to be wrong). Sound however: it really has something to it. And I love the wheel of my 2nd run OG. The last batch had a totally different feel to it so I had returned it although it was on sale and in theory a really good deal.
No, but you can do full songs with it. There are no excuses to that. If you want, you can do entire songs, even with the actual state of song mode.
It’s not for you, but I’m tired of hearing the same story over and over about polyend abandoning devices. See how much upgrades had the original tracker. They didn’t abandone it. Even after years and years there was and update not long ago.
